Mr David Bell addressing on Rising Cyberspace Threats Driving Demand For IT Professionals With Cybersecurity Skills

On 20th January 2015, Mr David Bell – Associate Dean (International) of Northumbria University – graciously agreed to come down to the MDIS campus for two preview talks.  Entitled “Rising Cyberspace Threats Driving Demand for IT Professionals with Cybersecurity Skills”, Mr Bell spoke candidly about the recently Sony Pictures breach and highlighted how attacks like these were becoming more common.

Mr Bell also spoke at length about how companies are starting to realise that they must now start to invest in IT professionals trained in cybersecurity to mitigate these attacks, and how graduates from MDIS and Northumbria University’s IT programmes are perfectly situated to take advantage of this rising demand.
