Eyewear designed for bedtime smartphone users hits stores

Using electronic devices before bedtime is believed to disrupt sleeping patterns. But if one can’t break the habit, there are perhaps at least better ways to do it.Japanese eyeglass maker Jin Co. on Thursday released eyewear for bedtime smartphone users. The company says the glasses can cut 60 per cent of short-wavelength enriched light. This “blue light” may suppress the hormone that helps sleep.
